The Company

MCAP, Ltd. has its own cashew plantation and processing facilities. The company employs over 600 people.

Management

In charge of the company are the two directors Lars Wallevik and Hermann Bani. Lars holds a Master in Business Administration and has a background in growing organic avocados in California and working with procurement for a big pharmaceutical company. Hermann has lived and worked in Mim for more than 30 years. He has been working as an engineer for all the big companies in Mim, and has designed, planned and constructed the cashew processing factory. Hermann has worked alongside Desmond Charmant for many years, the founder of the property the company operates upon. Joseph Yeung is Finance & Administration Manager.

Administration

Derek Tackie-Yarboi, Peter Boakye-Yiadom, Milicent Odoom and Nelson Yao Dzidedi Torkornoo are Accounts Officers. Jemima Hansen is Head of Personnel. David Manu is Cash & Stock Accountant.

Factory

In charge of the factory is our Production Manager Remesan Kumaran, together with the Assistant Production Manager Agyeman Badu Frank and Peeling Supervisor Asamoah Antwi Smith. Paula Kwetey is Quality Control Officer. Baba Atta Nsor is Destillery Production Manager. Approximately 250 people are working in the shelling section, and 230 people are working in the pre-treatment, sorting, peeling and packaging sections.

Farm

We have our own cashew plantation, which is administered by our Farm Manager Asante Adusei.
