MCAP, Ltd. has its own cashew plantation and processing facilities. The company employees over 400 people.
In charge of the company are the two directors Lars Wallevik and Hermann Bani. Lars holds a Master in Business Administration and has a background in growing organic avocados in California and working with procurement for a big pharmaceutical company. Hermann has lived and worked in Mim for more than 30 years. He has been working as an engineer for all the big companies in Mim, and has designed, planned and constructed the cashew processing factory. Hermann has worked alongside Desmond Charmant for many years, the founder of the property the company operates upon.
Besides the two directors, we have 3 people working in the administration. Kristine Munk is in charge of Public Affairs, but is on maternity leave at the moment. David K. Manu is our accountant, and Jemima Hansen is the administrative assistant.
We have our own cashew plantation, which is administered by our Farm Manager Asante Adusei, who has around 50 people working with him in the plantation.
In charge of the factory is our Factory manager Baba Atta Nsor, who gets assistance from the Factory Supervisor Daniel Nsiah and the Cashew Supervisor Frank Badu. Paula Kwetey works as Food Technolgist. Approximately 150 people are working in the shelling section, and 180 people are working in the pre-treatment, sorting, peeling and packaging sections.
David Dodoh is in charge of all the carpentry work at the factory site.
